WEAKNESS     

Just as God revealed Himself to Jacob in the dream long ago, He reveals Himself to us. 

No, not in dreams and here is how we know that. Turn in your Bible to

Hebrews 1:1-2....God says in times past He used to reveal Himself in various ways:

"God, after He spoke long ago to the fathers in the prophets in many portions, and in many ways, in these last days has spoken. to us in His Son..."

In other words, God's method of speaking to you now is through His Word. It is a more sure way because you can read His revealed will again and again, even memorize it. And you have it right before you when you need direction, comfort, information...

 OF ALL THE MILLIONS OF BOOKS IN THE WHOLE WORLD, GOD HAS ONLY ONE BOOK, AND THAT IS THE BIBLE.

And what is the biggest difference in the Bible and other books?

LISTEN, LISTEN, LISTEN 

because this is MOST IMPORTANT!!!!!

GOD'S BOOK, THE BIBLE IS THE ONLY BOOK THAT IS ACCOMPANIED BY THE AUTHOR...

and who is that, you may ask?

Answer: The Holy Spirit!

Think about it...The HOLY SPIRIT takes the words on the page and applies them to your heart, to your situation, giving you answers and directions your life needs.
