Listen to Me in silence ...Isaiah 41:1
Hear, you who are deaf ... Isaiah 42:18
Hear this ... Isaiah 48:1
Awake, awake ... Isaiah 52:1
It is almost impossible to correct a child who will not listen.
God calls us to listen and obey Him
for the same reason
we want our children to listen and obey us.
"Incline your ear and come to Me.
Listen, that you may live"
God wants you and me to glorify and enjoy Him,
not in a few things,
but in everything.
He is with us moment by moment,
and yes, chastening us,
all for our good and His glory.
He is a gentle and good Father to His people, yet He brings loving correction as needed,
and many will,
no doubt, experience this loving correction today!
God is watching and listening
to our prayers and cries.
As He is the God of all comfort,
He is the all-caring God.
God helps His children in ways
we often don't expect.
And sometimes we don't
realize what He has done for us
until some time later.
God remains against those who are wicked and who in these times are acting out of evil - even if their evil is unrecognized
or if this evil is called good by certain people.
God is in absolute control over it all.
God leaves nothing undone that will correct and arouse you and me to listen
and obey Him.
Hear God's call.
Read His Word daily.
Commit passages to memory.
Be obedient to His message - found in Holy Scripture.
"Seek the Lord while He may be found;
Call upon Him while He is near.
Let the wicked forsake his way
and the unrighteous man his thoughts;
And let him return to the Lord,
and He will have compassion on him,
and to our God, for He will abundantly pardon
Awake, awake, put on your strength, O Zion; put on your beautiful garments . . .
Have a glorious day in the Lord.
I would love to hear from you.
