"And let us consider and give attentive, continueous care to watching over one another,
studying how we may stir up (stimulate and incite) to
love and helpful deeds and noble activities."
(Hebrews 10:24 AMPLIFIED BIBLE)
Friendships are dearest to the Christian when trust in the Lord Jesus is the common goal.
"May those who fear You see me and be glad,
because I wait for Your word" (Psalm 119:74).
Do you select friends who study God's Word and depend upon His promises?
Do friends choose you for the same reason?
When others have desperate need or prayer,
is your name foremost in their mind?
"Then those who feared the Lord talked often one to another" (Maladhi 3:16 AMP).
Do you talk often with those who fear the Lord, or do you let months or years go by without sharing what God has done in your life?
We all need encouragement.
"Therefore encourage,(admonish, exhort)
one another and edify - strengthen and build up - one another, just as you are doing"
(I Thessalonians 5:11 AMPLIFIED BIBLE).
