Lift Up Your Eyes

"Lift up your eyes on high

and see who has created these stars,

the One who leads forth their host by number, He calls them all by name;

because of the greatness of His might

and the strength of His power,

not one of them is missing."

(Isaiah 40:26)

Throughout Scripture God

invites you not only to look up at His created beauty,

but to lift up your eyes

to the One who is enthroned in the heavens

(Psalm 123:1). 

Thrill to the prompting of God's love.

Open your heart to His intimate fellowship

that awaits you.

Y0u need not walk with your head down, as animals do.

Look up and immerse yourself

in the beauty and awesomeness of His creation.

Leave your worries, your stress , and your fears. 

Lift up your eyes on high for a new perspective,

His perspective.
