"For godly grief and the pain God is permitted to direct, produce a repentance that leads and contributes to salvation and deliverance from evil, and it never brings regret; but worldly grief [the hopeless sorrow that is characteristic of the pagan world] is deadly - breeding and ending in death." 2 Corinthians 7:10 AMP
If you openly admit your sins, call sin what the Bible calls it, and repent before God with true sorrow,
God will forgive you.
"If we [freely] admit that we have sinned
and confess our sins,
He is faithful and just
[true to His own nature and promises]
and will forgive our sins
(dismiss our lawlessness )
and continuously cleanse us
from all unrighteousness - everything not in conformity
to His will in
thought and action."
I John 1:9 AMP
If at first you find it difficult to repent,
ask God to help you.
He is far more eager to forgive you
that you are to be forgiven.
Ask Him to give you a heart
that loves Him
more than you love yourself.
Thank Him that you are renewed by repentance,
and at the same time freed
from the bondage of sin
and agonizing guilt.

God has ordained everything that happens in your life. And why has he done that?
The answer is:
For your good
and for His glory.
You may not think there is any "good"
or and "glory" in your situation,
but God says otherwise.
Reassure yourself that God's ways
are higher than your ways.
He is not obligated to explain His ways to you or to me. His ways are perfect and for the most part are passed finding out. Isn't this what trust is all about? We do not walk by sight but by faith.
He is near to you.
He is at hand.
He is your refuge and strength,
a very present help in trouble
He is your personal, all powerful,
Thank Him for His great mercy
in making you conscious of your helplessness.
He is just as truly your Helper
when He is chastening you,
as when He is delivering you from trouble.
Trust Him today.
He is not far away.
Trust Him today!
