"Yours, O Lord, is the greatness,
and the power, and the glory,
and the victory, and the majesty;
for all that is in the heavens
and in the earth is Yours;
Yours is the kingdom, O Lord,
and Yours it is to be exalted
as head over all."
I Chronicles 29:11 (Amplified)
Karma is a Hindu doctrine that all men face the same unvarying consequences. That is to believe there is no specific grace, no particularism, no intimacy as a child of God.
Karma does not rely upon Scripture. It is rather a heathen, un-godly belief that is opposed to the truth of Scripture. Karma's doctrine is that a person's destiny is his to determine, since he can overcome his bad Karma by certain rules.
God is sovereign in every way.
His Word is true.
It is historically true and true in its application to one's life, one's heart,
and to everything in the universe.
Karma is a foolish notion,
a heathen attempt to explain this or that
and have a part in the control of one's destiny.
Karma is believed by persons who reject the God of scripture.
They do no know God,
and rebell against receiving Him into their heart and worshiping Him as the sovereign God who made all things
and has control over all things
at all times.
The sovereignty of the God of Scripture is absolute, irresistible, infinite.
When we say that God is sovereign,
we affirm His right to govern the universe, which He has made for His own glory, just as He pleases.
is the right of the Potter over the clay, viz: that He may mould that clay into whatsoever form He chooses,
fashioning out of the same lump one vessel unto honour
and another unto dishonour.
God is under no rule or law outside His own will and nature.
God is a law unto Himself,
He is under no obligation to give an account of His matters to any.
If you do not know the God of Scripture, and you desire in your heart to turn from sin and follow Him in everything you do, cry out to Him. Ask Him to give you a new heart, one that loves Him and desires to follow Him in everything you say and do. Repent of your sin.
Open His Word. As God to help you believe it and apply it to your life.
(Repentance is a change or reversal of mind - a conviction of sin, a deep desire to obey God and follow Him at all cost.)
Ask God to help you recognized specific sins in your life and cry out to Him to strip those sins away from you.
Trust in Him today. Reject the darkness of sin that is all around you
and specifically the sin that dwells in your heart.
Look to and depend upon God's divine revelation, and the pure light of the Holy Spirit leading you into His truth.
